Support the Mission
OpenScripture is built and maintained by one person. Here's why support matters, and the ways you can help.
Hi, I'm Paul — an independent Christian developer in Australia, and the person behind OpenScripture. I started this project because I believe everyday readers deserve to see what's actually happening between translations: where they differ, why, and what the source languages say. That conviction hasn't changed. The truth has nothing to fear.
Building it honestly costs real money. Licensed Bible translations like the NASB carry ongoing licensing obligations. Hosting, account sync, and the data work behind interlinear study and textual certainty all take time and infrastructure. Every subscription goes toward those three things: translation licensing, hosting, and ongoing development.
Two commitments won't change. The free tier stays generous — reading, comparing, and core study tools are not behind a paywall. And licensed translations like the NASB stay free to read forever. Premium pays for the project; it doesn't ration Scripture.
This is also, plainly, a work of faith for me. I pray that OpenScripture helps people read God's Word more carefully and love it more deeply. If it has helped you do that, I'd be genuinely glad to hear from you — and gladder still if it draws you closer to Christ.

Not everything that helps costs money. Pray for the project and for the people using it. Tell a friend, your small group, or your pastor about OpenScripture. And if something is broken or confusing, send feedback — careful readers make the app better.
